Top 5 Toddler Summer Must Haves

With summer already here in the dry land of Phoenix, we are already planning vacations and chugging the water down! My 18 month old and I took a trip to the zoo last weekend and it made me question "Am I prepared for this summer?" So I took a look at her closet, organized what to donate and found myself with only a bottle of sunscreen and 5 shirts that fit, to get us through. So I started my list of "Must Have Summer Items for an 18 Month Old" which was kind of lengthy so I shortened it to the "Top 5 [...]"
1. Sun Hat
My little one has some fair skin and I didn't realize how important a hat would be in these scorching Phoenix summers. I found this cute little one for under $15!
Sunscreen is a must have to keep those cheeks from getting rosy and of course for long time protection! I love a mineral sun screen as it allows me the peace of mind that she is getting the best protection from UV rays.
Need I really say anymore?! With a trip to Cancun in our horizon, we had to pick up a coast guard approved type 2 life vest. We have a month of swim lessons but you can never be too careful! We scouted two different pool store locations (both closed!) and called a Dicks Sporting Goods (they didn't have it!) to only be lead by to our trusty Amazon.
4. Water Shoes
These suckers are going to come in handy whilst we stroll the sandy beaches of Cancun and dive into the ocean! I checked Target for these with no such luck.
In a digital world, it's nice to unplug and have some good old fashion fun. My family loves to goof around with board games and puzzles!
